Meet Asma Docrat
I was threading brows at thirteen. I trained as a beauty therapist from 2004 to 2006, graduating with a BTEC Triple Distinction, and learnt everything: lashes, brows, skin, waxing, nails, body. I didn’t choose a trend. I chose the whole craft, because I wanted to understand the whole picture and not just one topic. Everything in beauty goes hand in hand, being able to provide the full package is the best I can do for my clients.
You may know my work from Boudoir Lashes, the brand I built before putting my own name on the door. I started from home in Stoke Newington, then my first concession at BECCA Cosmetics - (2011) in South Kensington, opened my own salon in Shoreditch (2013), and ran my second concession at Harvey Nichols (2018)
Along the way I’ve done Pixie Lott’s bridal lashes, worked with Dina Asher-Smith and Ayra Starr, worked alongside Mario Testino, and appeared on Celebrity Juice and have assisted legendary Nail Artist Iram Shelton and so much more over the last 22years in this industry. My work has been featured in Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, Tatler, Elle, Sunday Times Style and SheerLuxe and beyond.
My mission is simple: to stop people hiding behind heavy, damaging trends, and show them how good their natural features look when they’re given real precision, time and care. When I tell people i’m in my 40’s they cant believe it, and always ask me what the secret is. Im not one to gate keep so if you want to know come and see me.
