If you have ever considered bleached brows and then talked yourself out of it because you were worried about what could go wrong, that hesitation is exactly why you should come here rather than anywhere else. Brow bleaching is a technical treatment. The timing has to be right for your specific pigment. The formula strength has to be calibrated to your skin type. The toning afterwards has to be colour-matched to your complexion so the result looks natural and intentional rather than yellow or washed out. Get any of those wrong and you end up with something you'd rather not look at for the next six weeks. I have been bleaching brows for over twenty-five years. Grazia quoted me recently on the low contrast brow trend (read the article here) the movement toward softer, lighter brows that frame the face without dominating it. This is an area of genuine expertise, not a treatment I added to the menu because it became fashionable. Every appointment begins with a consultation. I look at your natural pigment, your skin tone, and your hair colour, and I tell you honestly what shade is achievable in one session and what might take two. I would rather under-promise and over-deliver than rush a result that damages your brow hair.   • Avoid exfoliating products or retinoids around the brows for 48 hours

  • Apply a nourishing brow treatment daily

  • Refresh tone and condition every 4–6 weeks for best results

THE DETAILS.

  • Yes — always, even if you've had brow bleaching before. A patch test must be done at least one week before your appointment. Please WhatsApp 07956 655110 or book via Fresha and mention you need a patch test. Do not book the full treatment without completing one first — this is non-negotiable for your safety.

  • Most clients achieve 2–3 shades lighter in a single session. Very dark or densely pigmented brows may need two appointments to reach the ideal result without over-processing. I assess your pigment at the consultation and give you a realistic expectation for your specific brows before touching anything. Protecting your brow hair health always takes priority over achieving maximum lightness in one go.

  • Yes — if the toning is done correctly for your complexion, which is exactly what the consultation and colour correction stage of the treatment is for. Warm skin tones need the toner to neutralise brassiness; cool skin tones need a different formula. This is where twenty-five years of colour-matching experience is most visible. I have never sent a client home with orange brows.

  • As your natural brow pigment grows back, the lightened effect gradually fades. Most clients refresh every 4–6 weeks to maintain the result. Between appointments, I recommend applying a nourishing brow oil or serum daily — lightened hair is more porous and benefits from regular conditioning.

  • Yes. It is vital that you mention any health condition before you proceed with any treatments so that the therapist is aware and can advise of any precautions to take.

  • Low contrast brows is the editorial term for brows that are tinted or lightened to sit closer to your natural hair tone, creating a softer, less defined look. Bleached brows are the more extreme version — lifted significantly in colour, often to a platinum or very fair shade. Both fall under my expertise. At the consultation I'll show you the range of results possible for your colouring and you choose where on that spectrum you want to sit.
